soulfly were a very spiritual band but their last couple of albums have been very dark and aggressive lyrically. Reading the bio about the new album it seems this one is going to be even more 'violent' in content and imagery, which disapponits me. I know Max is a metal legend and I have a lot of respect for the man but I had hoped he would allow his spiritual side to come through more. I'd be interested to read the full lyrics once the album has been released.

I know what you mean about the last few albums, my favorite Soulfly album is definitely Prophecy their are some great spiritual lyrics on that album especially on I Believe that's one of my favorite soulfly tracks.
I read that their is going to be a cover of the Led Zeppelin track Four Sticks on the Omen special edition I'm really interested by that.
