First off I would like to say high to everyone this is the first time I have been here.

My Prayer request is for my struggle over pornography. The last fourm that I was on ( the demon hunter one) I met many other belivers with the same problem. For almost 3 years I quit looking at porn. And it was all things to GOD , but recently my mind started to wonder back to those images and body urges that I use to get so bad. Most of the time I prayed for strength against such things but little by little I gave in. Untill today when I was on the computer surfing youtube and I started to get tempted. I began to pray but my mind couldnt get off the desire to look at that trash. My ears shut out Jesus and the spirt. I fail back in to my Lust for looking at women and whats worse I even kept saying to my self I love Jesus while I looked.i printed out pictures and thought about keeping them ( i have done this before also) but couldnt bear to keep them. No mater how beautiful I found them I didnt want them to replace my GOD as my desire. I prayed for forgiveness and destroyed the pictures. I have been tempted for the last 3 years and GOD has helped me time and again. I just feel so bad that after what felt like so many stronger temptations that I was able to give in today.
I know that Iam forgiven and I am thankfull for the Grace of GOD to forgive me. But now I must get my Sword and Shield and stand against my sinful desire and the evil one. I just would like everyone to pray that I may be able to be self control and strong and quick to call the Lord me my Time of trial so that 3 years may turn to 6 then to 12 and so on to remain free from the slavery of Pornography.

will be praying and well done for being so brave as to admit this, I too have struggled with this issue, particularly as a teenager but praise God we are set free in Christ from all the chains that bind us! It is for freedom we have been set free, hallelujah! Know that freedom and God's love for you, because your sins are forgiven at the cross. Pornography, like all other sin, is empty and there is a void with it that you can sense compared to the wonderful relationship you have with God, full of meaning, love and truth. I know how you feel, just keep reminding yourself that it's just not worth it because it leaves you feeling empty inside; and remember where sin increases: grace abounds! (Romans 5:20) God is bigger and stronger than the temptation and desire of the flesh, He is mighty to save. God bless man.

Can't really add anything to what trubywarrior has typed above. Welcome to the forums and I admire your brave start. All the best for the future, because our past is done and we can only ask to be forgiven for our mistakes. God will forgive us, but only if we're sorry - and by no doubt, you are my brother.
