Not sure whether there are any Head fans here but I thought I'd flag up his new album anyway. I had pre-ordered my copy to get it signed so I had to wait a little for it to come, but I finally got it a couple of days ago. Musically his style hasn't changed dramatically from his Korn days, it's still heavy nu-metal-esque riffs. However he didn't totally abandon his experimentation with electronica and there are lots of cool, eerie electronica sound effects in there too to give it a cool, wierd atmosphere/ambience. For example he converted his song 'cheap name' into a heavy song but you can still tell its a cheap name, though he renamed the song 'home'. He also uses lots of choirs, piano and violin parts/samples to add to the melodies. Overall this album is great, the consistency of the quality from start to finish is superb, there are no 'fillers'. I can't really decide on an out and out favourite track because they are all so good and each one has its own personality that I like. Lyrically too this is one of the most uplifting albums I've heard in a long time and a far cry from a lot of Korns lyrics. Practically every song speaks of the hope that comes from God and His redemptive power and love. The album definitely has a powerful message to it and is to a degree an extension of his autobiography of the same name.

I really recommend this album to any nu-metal or Korn fan. [:)]
