Ive heard, and witnessed a rumour that POD are touring with Disturbed and Alter Bridge this year, and are doing shows in nz around september...? Anyone else heard anything...dont know if its true or not!!!

That would be freakin awesome i'd go see that show for sure. I missed getting to see Disturbed this year at edgefest and i've always liked Alter Bridge.

Some radio station in New Zealand announced it, so it could be a specific tour for there.

I receive email updates from The Rock (radio station in New Zealand), and their last email stated that Disturbed would be touring with support from P.O.D. and Alter Bridge. It was up on their website but I can't find it anymore. The dates they had were:

Sept 15: Auckland
Sept 16: Wellington
Sept 17: Christchurch

I hope that's the case. I'll be stoked to be able to see both P.O.D. and Alter Bridge in one concert.

It's all good to me. I loved Ten Thousand Fists and my mom actually was stunned at their Genesis cover, "The World We Live In".

Yea Alter Bridge is Creed after Creed separated. It's Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, Scott Phillips and Myles Kennedy (new vocalist formerly of the Mayfield Four)! I think they're actually better than Creed. But of course nowhere close to P.O.D. [;)]. Jah Bless Warriors!

Well I've loved Disturbed for years and I also am a HUGE fan of Alter Bridge! And of course seeing P.O.D. live is my dream so I hope that this tour comes to Canada! Both P.O.D. and Alter Bridge have a lot of ties together with the WWE, as they have used many of their songs!

The actually was called Land of Confusion
but it does say "the world we live in" a lot. easy mistake

Well TV channels here are running Ads for that Tour.So this means there will be 3 bands who have spiritually/at times biblically bent lyrics  on the same Bill.
So POD will Tour Australia for only teh second time in their lives and sadly this Tour has come 5 years too late.
If they had Toured here in 2003,they would have sold out the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Minutes.They wanted to Tour  at that time but were caught up in Label Problems.Now they are back playing support act for the Still strong Disturbed.
Ironically Alterbridge is another Band that is facing similar problems to POD as well.They were caught up in Label issues until they left WindUp records.They are a much better band than what people give them Credit for.They music makes Creed look like a crawling Toddler that may never walk or stand up.
I'm not sure If I can attend coz I had already Bought Tickets for Opeth in September and also for Cavalera Conspiracy.
If I get a Pay rise I might buy tickets,but they will sell out fast,coz Disturbed is very popular here now.
