They did a really good job and I respect them for having the guts to go acoustic on national TV. I do still think that Condescending would have been a wiser choice as lead single instead of Addicted and that they should have played it on Leno...that song has beautiful melody in it and it grooves too!

sorry brother.

yeah i think it was pretty cool. i liked that they had the strings in background rather than just the guitars. made it feel fuller. it sounded incredibly like the record. i think that addicted or condesending would have been better, but i'm fine either way.

well I have my theory about why they didn't play their actual single on the Leno show and that is because they're trying to reach different audiences with their various different performances. Maybe they felt the type of person who'd be watching Leno would be more inclined to like 'Tell Me Why?' and therefore buy the new album! It's only a theory...it'll be interesting to see which song(s) they'll play on the Carson Daly show?![:)]

I thaught it would be good to promote the BEST song from the album (the single) on a once ina lifetime opourtunity to promote your record to millions. It was nice tosee them play accoustic for a change with an orchestra, and Sonnys been working on his vocals.

I stillt hink tell me why would have been a great single, specially cos the world is so full of war atm...Just like Satellite Spoke to those who were affected by Sept 11th, so too can Tell Me Why speak to those affected by war....

But oh well too late
