http://www.dopethemovie.org/ , Battle Ax from S.O.G. told me that he's working on the soundtrack for the Hip-Hop edition of the dope movie soundtrack and was telling me P.O.D. had worked on it to. So I checked the page and what do you know they have a song I've never heard. I think P.O.D. dropped the ball by not informing us about this, hopefully they plan to tell us lol.

It's called Murder One
Sonny talked about it like 2 years ago, right before the Greatest Hits album was released
it's a Truby track
or, at least, seems like it
sounds like it would be, it was written before he left the band

I cant find the newsletter.
Sorries...jus dont want P.O.D. to come down anywhere from July 28th to August 3....goin to GA and I DONT WANT TO MISS THEM!!! lol...so Im kinda paranoid ((sp)) with the month of August and if P.O.D. is goin to come to South Florida around that time..it would be just my luck [:(]

I agree with The Vines, that song is better than any on the new album. I'm a big fan of waht Truby brought to the band.

Absolutley excellent song. Gives the new album competition! Looks like the Truby legacy is going to be ignored, and forgotten, even tho i thaught songs like 'Going In Blind' were masterpieces, and every music project that the man touches turns to gold.

Shame it never got fully mentioned...but its not surprising, does P.O.D. play any of the songs from the last 2 albums anymore?? No...theyd rather just pretend it didnt happen

Sweet song, but I like Dont Fake It better. Kronix, did your opinion of the new album change after listening to it a few times or do u still not like it?

The Truby era was good, but not the same and this album shows the difference in my opinion. I think it would be a shame for the Truby era to be forgotten, but most of it wasnt very memorable in the first place, for me at least.

Don't get me wrong, I wish that Marcos never left to begin with, but I think that what Truby brought to the Band was originally unforgettable. Very different vibe and grooving feel. Marcos rips and Truby grooves in a way.

I really like both guitarists and wish they were a 5 piece. I really liked the last 2 albums but I also love the new one. P.O.D. is one band I can say that I enjoy pretty much everything they do.

I am another who has been picking up the disrepect towards Truby. Truby was and is the man, and wrote some masterpiece songs.

The way I see it, Marcos was out of the picture, he quit/was fired due to his own WRONGDOINGS and has no right to mock or disrespect the man. Truby saved our favourite band that wasotherwise DOOMED, or perhaps a less desirable Guitarist Could ahve come into the picture.

Im a very unhappy longtime fan, and Im pretty close to chucking this band in. Some of the Truby Songs were HUGE in my country, and some were bigger than alot of Marcos driven songs...But do we ever hear them live, or hear them regarded to by the 'new' P.O.D. ..No. ......

Maybee P.O.D. DO care about record sales!
