What's everyone's thoughts on this? I personally think they should not be allowed make fun of other's religions, but violence is unnecesary.

I think freedom of speach and freedom of the press are essential parts of our freedom.. I think what they printed is innapropriate but at the same time people have printed much worse about Jesus .. but you didnt see any Christians burning down embassies.

To me this only proves that the real underbelly of islam is founded deeply in hate, violence and racism. You only needed to watch the news of the riots to see the signs some of them were holding up .. one that caught my eye said " death to all non muslims " nough said.

i think it's a difficult time for all the european countries (maybe also for the usa) because they are not sure what they should do... i heard that some members of the taliban told they're gona pay 10kg gold for every european soldier their landsmen kill. i think it's really hard for the gouverments to do the right thing..

if you ask me this is yelling fire in a crowded theatre. Sure you hvae the righht to but why do it? In Canada many muslims are PECEFULLY protesting the cartoons and writing letters to the editor.

Yeah .. it was pretty insensitive. For me as a Christian I would rather focus on showing people the love and freedom of Christ then focus on the faults of other religons.

I liked the one saying Stop Stop we ran out of virgins! The rest i dont like because they are to insulting.

Freedom of press is not a freeway to insult a person or a group.

But he, the muslim country's where are violent protest against this are the same country's posting anti Jew/israel and anti Christian stuff/cartoons in 'there' news papers. So whats really going on here? The hate against the west i think. The uprise about the cartoons is just another way to kick back at us here in the beter part of the world.

Just on the news, a fatwah? (how do you write that?) has been released. The reward 25000 euros(or dollars) plus a car to the one or ones who "kill" the cartoonist(s) behind all those Muhammahd cartoons here in europe.

Islam is not "founded deeply in hate", only evil men have strayed the message of Islam from what it originally was, to a corrupt system.

Alot like lets say Christianity and the people who have tarnished its reputation with wars. (right now)

Not all Muslims are like this.

While I dont agree with the violence I dont think its alright to call THIS freedom of speech, but they will let ANYONE go on CNN and complain about a movie that may be racist. This is racist, this is discriminating...but this? No, this is freedom of speech. (is bullcrap)

Stop the violence! Yeah, how can you say that then turn around and support a war?

Racist? Which "race" is Muslim? Last time I checked there was Arab, African,Asian,European Muslims. Islam is facist to the core...say anything against Mohammed in a Islamic nation and you will probably die, and if they [the ones who actually obey the Quran] cannot get to you in our nation, they will attack anything that represents it.

After studying Mohammed closer recently I am personally convinced he was a lunatic. He claimed to stone a "immoral female monkey"...he had sex with a 9 yr. old girl, in which the Hadith declared she was "still playing with dolls"...he claimed Adam was 90 ft. tall...he claimed plants and animals talked to him all the time (and it doesn't state "Allah" was speaking through them at all). Him and his army both had to take Mecca & Medina by war...the two most "holy" cities of Islam. To me the Quran is cheap,vague, unstructured rip off of the Torah with shallow panderings to topics of Jesus and such. Islam is nothing more than a daughter of Babylon spiritually speaking, mother of all harlot religions, seducing people away from the truth of Yahweh and His covenant with Abraham and his seed...leading unto Judah and the Messiah, Jesus. It's rituals and icons existed prior in strange paganistic manors...all of it, from the
Ka'ba and encircling it 7 times to kissing the black stone,The Run of Safa and Marwa ...on and on.

Not to be perverted here for the sake of perversion, but imagine a cartoon showing Mohammed leading a 9 yr. old off to his dwelling while she was holding a doll in the other hand. It would be the EXACT truth...but the response would probably just as ballistic from the Islam-o-fascists. To me its a end times catalyst that billions of people on earth would honor such a disgusting pedophile as a prophet, and would kill others for the sake of His image. These truely are the last days...no doubt about it!!!

I'm with rev. Now, I'm not an expert on the Muslim faith by any means, but I've read a book written by a former Islam (he was some lecturer professor dude at some big Islamic Uni in Egypt) and he talks about what true Islam is and what false/secular Islam is. Those who are being violent, and are calling for every non-muslim to convert or be killed blah blah blah are the ones practicing true Islam. This is because in the Koran it contains passages of peace, love etc to those who aren't Muslim but then in later passages it talks about how those who aren't Muslim should convert or be killed. The two contradict of course, but Islamic scholars and teachers of the Koran dismiss the passages of peace because they were old revelation, the old way to practice Islam. The passages of killing and violence are the new revelation and is the true way to practice Islam. I hope that all made sense. If it didn't get hold of a book called "Islam and Terrorism" (or something like that). I think the authors name is Mark Gabriel (that's his english name, he explains why he uses this name instead of his other name in the book). Yeah, that's all I have to say.

It's weird how all peaceful muslims are warring and killing each other in Iraq. Yes it's a religion or peace...and love. But I guess it's President Bush's fault.
