Toonami: You couldnt get me to buy a sony product even if there console was 1000 times better then the 360. Secondly I'm not really paying for my 360 .. I'm using some gift vouches I'm getting through work to get it.. so its not costing me anything anyways.

What an idiot this guy is.. by the time he pays his court fees he'll be more in the whole then he was before he purchased his 360.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A Chicago man who bought Microsoft Corp.'s new Xbox 360 has sued the world's largest software maker, saying the new video game console has a design flaw that causes it to overheat and freeze up.

The proposed class action claims that in Microsoft's bid to gain share in the US$25 billion global video game market, the company was so intent on releasing the Xbox 360 before competing next-generation machines from Sony and Nintendo that it sold a "defectively designed" product.

Robert Byers, who brought the suit, said the power supply and central processing unit in the Xbox 360 overheat, affecting heat-sensitive chips and causing the console to lock up.

Microsoft spokeswoman Molly O'Donnell on Monday said the company does not comment on pending litigation.

Complaints about the problem surfaced quickly on gaming enthusiast Web sites after the Xbox 360 debuted on 22 November.

Console owners reported that some systems had crashed during regular use as well as during online game play using the Xbox Live service. Problems included screens going black and the appearance of a variety of error messages.

At the time O'Donnell told Reuters: "We have received a few isolated reports of consoles not working as expected."

She declined to say how many reports Microsoft had received and said that calls reporting the issue to the company represented a "very, very small fraction" of units sold.

The lawsuit, filed on Friday in federal court in Illinois, seeks unspecified damages and litigation-related expenses, as well as the replacement or recall of Xbox 360 game consoles.

Oh Toonami

Umm Ya My computer can do all those things.... and by the time the PS3 comes out PC should have better graphics

And yeah the PS3 is going to cost a pretty penny

lo dudes i am like new...but just wanted to know like what games r u into???O_O
i havent read this whole thread but it was under gamin \:D/ and i am a gamer :) and i see u dudes r all from diff countries so was just wonderin if u guys go 2 LANS

well...=/ i finally broke down and got an xbox 360...but only cuz a PS3 is $600...although could have got it on the card....but then i wouldn't be able to get any games for it.

...it's ok

only have a few games...Halo 2 is pretty awesome can't wait for 3 to come out we don't have live yet but we'll be getting it what servers are you guys on?

I got an Xbox 360 premium edition last year during the summer and it broke down during September or October. We didn't get the warranty which we could of because we could of just returned it and got another one. We send it in to Microsoft and got a replacement one which was a refurished one. It worked fine until my brother took it with him when he moved out and my mom asked for it. He told me that it broked down and got another one. We have yet to get the red ring of death but have gotten the disc drive error with our first xbox 360 not readind the disc.
