Looks like our boy has finished his second instrumental guitar album, titled "Waiting On the Wind" and is continuing to work on a vocal album:

"After a couple of live performances with guitar legend Phil Keaggy, he has spent time with Phil working on a vocal album. Also, for you guitar enthusiasts, Jason has completed his acoustic album Waiting on the Wind. The release date is coming soon! This album is an exploration of acoustic guitar picking up where String Theory was leading.
Jason will be performing with Phil Keaggy on August 11th in Little Rock."

hope you guys and girls in the Little Rock area can make it to the performance!

I'm not sure if anyone has been keeping tabs on Jason lately, but I fired off an email about a month ago to the man himself and I got a response just today about this album. It's not "BREAKING NEWS IN THE WORLD OF TRUBY" by any means but it does give a clearer image as to when the truby fans can possibly get their hands on this record.

"My new project is completed. I am torn between a
web-site release or a label. Either way, I am going to be shooting for a
Thanksgiving release.
I will keep everyone posted."

BOOM. I am so stoked for this thing to drop! Again it's not huge news but at least he hasn't dropped off the face of the earth..

Anyone go to his show back in August?

i will continue to support jason, 'string theory' had some beautiful songs on it, and the man is a very talented as well as versatile guitarist.

looks like Truby is going to release another acoustic guitar album, entitled "Finding the Quiet", as well as a few other projects like a vocal album and something else I believe... He put up a track from the acoustic album on his myspace page called "Middle Of the Garden"
