A long story short; this is a girl that works with my wife. There was a grand opening party and I met a few of the girls she works with and they all like me and are my friends on myspace now. "C" left a comment on one of my pictures. And I responded back then she responded back. And I don't know how to take this really. Anyway here's how it went:

C: (i don't remember exactly how she put it but she called me a slut in one of my pictures and said "hahahhaha" at the end of it)

Me: "I notice you use the word "slut" a lot in your comments. I think someone is projecting.
hahaha"

C: "yeah that's really funny. you know you think if you move to a new city you can start over, but no. there's always people like you who won't let that happen. thanks a lot."

3 things we know about "C"

1. she told me "I like you"
2. she told me "you're a good man"
3. she told my wife the next day after their party "I heart your husband"

Anyway, I have several possiblities of what she meant. I just want to hear some thoughts first. From anyone really. But I still don't understand the female mind so I was looking for a female's perspective.

Hrm, I'm a female. I also think she's an idiot to be frank. Seriously, she just likes playing games from what it sounds like. Prolly got emotional issues up the wazoo regarding her response to you saying she's projecting. If you're going to go to a new city to start anew, you should be focused on that regardless what people say or think and it isn't like you, Second Coming, knew that beforehand she was the lady of 42nd St....that is, if she isn't lying.

This girl just plain ain't up to any good. She's just playing around with the lives of others. Cut off psycho-rella at the knees the same way you would if she was a guy. That's prolly the only way she'll get the idea that you aren't the one to play with.

I was thinking one of these things:

1. she's pissed off
2. she's joking but couldn't come up with a good comeback
3. she was saying "you're making it hard not to fall back into my old ways"

thanks for your reply. I've had someone else say she's a psycho. I thought some of the same things you thought. I thought "she likes to play games" and thought "how would I know she actually had issues" I'm starting to think I hit the nail on the head with that comment and maybe it struck a nerve. Thanks again for your reply. I think I know how I'll approach it now. Cut off psyhco-rella at the knees but in a subtle nicer way.

Subtle and nice is good for starters for knee cutting. Save the throat cutting if she doesn't get it. Trust your instincts, man!

I didn't understand the tone of her message so I just replied with an ambiguous message of my own: "'People like me' huh?"(instead of the awesome comment I was going to reply with). I didn't think anything else of it. Then last night my wife said "um...haha Courtney said 'your husband is harassing me on myspace(said in a joking way). I think he's secretly hilarious.' and Shannon said 'oh yeah he's really funny!'" Then there was a lot of explanation of what they were talking about etc... But in short she wasn't pissed, but I'm still not sure what her comment meant exactly. Or the term "secretly hilarious". I guess she didn't know there was a humorous side to me? Whatever.

let's break this down

secretly = hidden
hilarious = funny

hidden funny.....

further

hidden = closet
funny = gay

I'm not sure where this is going.....I'd ask for clarification

Don't worry. All you have to do is smoosh her little hopes and dreams by talking about how much
you love your wife, and how your wife is prettier, sexier, amazinger (etc.) than any other woman
on the planet, and that no one else can compare to her. Trust me, "C" will go from crushing
to crushed.

Wow, you know you hit the nail on the head. I found out she's been seeing a psychologist. hahaha. But things are cool with us. I came in there a couple of days ago and we were talking and laughing. So it's all good.

I've known too many girls to act out in that kinda way, or say things off-wall and outta context like that... and everyone of them i've regretted knowing them honestly.

It's cool that things are going good with ya'll but i'd keep an eye on her.
