Sadly I havent purchased a cd from P.O.D in a while and I just read about Marcos quiting the band in another forum I want to know if anyone can catch me up on the status of P.O.D

Marcos is back in the band (has been since christmas 06) and P.O.D. released their first album with him after a 4 year absence in April, called 'When Angels and Serpents Dance'. The album (WA&SD for short) is typically P.O.D. in its experimentation but some fans think it leans a little to much on the melodic side. Personally I really love the album, there are still some heavy tracks on it, e.g the first single 'Addicted'. You can watch the music video for it on my myspace (see link in my sig

) I would recommend buying the album, it's a very good album, showing that P.O.D. have matured well and the guys need all our support; the album is almost out of the billboard 200. P.O.D. have just announced that their second single will be a song called 'Shine With Me', which is a more stereotypical P.O.D. single than 'Addicted'. Hopefully it will be really successful.

I'll go get it tommorow I'm a fan of old pod so if this has the old pod feel I'm up for it and ty for the info I must have read the stuff wrong about marcos ty for your time.

This is closer to the old P.O.D. than their last two albums. Even though Testify is my absolute favorite! That album kicks a$$! Jah Bless Warriors!

personally I think there were certain tracks on Testify that resembled old skool P.O.D. better than WA&SD but there are definitely some great P.O.D. tracks on the new album. When I heard Condescending, Kaliforn-eye-a and The End of the World I got that same feeling the first time I heard P.O.D. that this is something special! Kaliforn-eye-a is pretty old skool P.O.D.
